The National Institutes of Health issues scholarships for undergraduate health students. This program offers scholarships to students who come from disadvantage backgrounds and are studying biomedical, behavior and social science. This program will offer scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation. Students will receive up to $20,000 per academic year for tuition, educational expenses or living expenses. Eligibility requirements include being a United States citizen, being enrolled as a full-time student for the academic year and coming from a disadvantaged background. A disadvantaged background means having exceptional financial needs, according to the NIH website. Students also should have a GPA of 3.5 or above.

This scholarship program is for students who are studying or living in Australia and pursuing a degree in allied health or nursing. The Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health created this program to increase the number of allied health professionals in rural and remote areas of Australia. Students will receive $10,000 during their first year of college in their undergraduate allied health or oral health studies. These funds will cover the costs of living expenses. This program will continue to fund students for undergraduate and graduate entry studies leading to clinical practice, professional development and clinical placement.

This organization provides scholarships to undergraduate health students. They should be enrolled in a school accredited by the Environmental Health Accreditation Council, or a school that's a member of the NEHA Institution. This undergraduate scholarship will provide funds for the junior or senior year of college. The application process includes submitting an application, an academic transcript, two letters of recommendation from school faculty and one letter of recommendation from an NEHA member.
