How to Register for TOEFL

Each year, about 1 million people take TOEFL, or Test of English as a Foreign Language, in test centers worldwide. Colleges and organizations in more than 130 countries accept TOEFL as a measure of English-language skills. Start your registration by going to ETS.org and clicking on "TOEFL Test." From there, click on "Test Centers and Dates" to find a center and date that suit you. You can take TOEFL only in one of these centers, each of which offers either the Internet version or the paper-based version. The most common ways to register are online and by mail.
