How to Register for a GRE Exam

In order to be admitted into one of the hundreds of graduate school programs in the United States, students must complete the Graduate Records Exam. Admissions counselors and program chairs use GRE test scores to determine an individual's readiness to complete graduate level course work. The GRE measures your skills in quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and analytic writing. More than 600,000 prospective graduate students take the GRE each year, and individuals may sign up for the GRE online, by phone or by mail.
