How to Register for the GED Exam

Most universities require the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) as part of their registration process. Much like the SATs, this exam is very important to excel in and also requires a large amount of time to prepare. The GRE is a computer-based test and can only be taken at certain locations. These can be found throughout the United States, Canada and other countries. The GRE does have paper-based tests in locations where computer-based tests are not available.
