Schedule your GRE subject exam to allow enough time for your scores to meet universities' application deadlines. The GRE online registration system has the most current information for every testing center, which are located around the world. Be aware that test centers fill quickly and that not all test centers are open on all dates that the GRE subject exams are offered. If necessary, you can register online for the exam one week after the registration closes for the exam with a $25 late fee.
Create an online account on the GRE subject test registration website. You can pay either by credit or debit card. If you want to take a GRE subject test in Nigeria, you cannot register online (see Step 3). Note that online registration is not available for some GRE subject test registration services such as standby or Monday testing, fee reduction or disability accommodations. Once you set up an online account, you can schedule an subject-specific examination time and print an admission ticket.
Register by mail if you do not have access to the Internet. You can download the registration form on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) website. If you register by mail, you can pay by certified check, money order or debit or credit card. Fill the form out and mail with your payment. It takes about four weeks for mailed registration forms to be processed.
