How to Register for GMAT

In many ways, the Graduate Management Admission Test (commonly known as the "GMAT") is a conventional standardized test. For example, GMAT test takers study for the test, fill in answer sheets and use their test scores to apply to school programs. Unlike many other standardized tests, however, which are traditionally scheduled on set days, GMAT test takers register and schedule their own individual times to take the GMAT.

      Launch your Web browser and go to the official website for the GMAT.

      Move your cursor over the "The GMAT" option near the top of the website.

      Click on the "Schedule a GMAT Appointment" option.

      Select the yellow "Schedule a GMAT Appointment" option in the center of the page.

      Log into your GMAT account by entering your email address and password.

      Choose the date that you would like to take the GMAT and the location that you would like to take the test at. Note that dates tend to fill up well in advance, so plan early if you want to take the test on a specific day.

      Enter your payment information and click the "Confirm Appointment" button. You are now registered for the GMAT--good luck!
