The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, runs week-long arts, science, sports and leadership resident and day camp programs throughout June, July and August. Programming includes art, baseball, basketball, crew, cheerleading, cooking, dance, fly-fishing, football, golf, lacrosse, robotics, sailing, soccer, tennis and wrestling. The five-day Leadership U program takes place in late June, giving high school sophomores through seniors an opportunity to build leadership skills through community outreach and workshops. Students from ages 11 to 15 can participate in a week-long American Red Cross-certified babysitting training. The school designed its co-ed programming for students ages 7 to 18.

The North Country School, located in the Adirondack Mountains of Lake Placid, New York, has a seven-week residential summer camp program called Camp Treetops. The school established the co-ed program in 1921, and welcomes students from age 8 to 14. The 200-acre sprawling property has organic gardens, farm animals, lakes and hiking trails. Programming from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. combines leisure and sports activities with classes in music, art and horseback riding. Students will learn about plant and animal care by completing regular barn chores. Students may participate in an elective Summer Rox program, a three-week outdoor rock-climbing adventure.

The Ojai Valley School in Ojai, California, established its summer school and camp in 1943. The school has two campuses, segregated by age; the lower school welcomes students from pre-kindergarten to grade eight, and students from grades nine to 12 may attend the upper school. Students from grade three and higher may live on campus, and students from age 3 to 7 can participate in a day camping program. Activities offered include English as a second language (ESL), credit and non-credit academic courses, college preparatory seminars, college tours, sports and excursions to Southern California attractions. The school offers elective programs on a space-available basis in equestrianship, arts and environmental studies. The summer school program runs from mid-June to late July annually. Students arriving to the LAX International Airport can arrange for round-trip bus transportation with the school.
