How to Cite a Documentary in a TV Series in APA

In 1929, guidelines were compiled into a book to streamline scientific writing. Today those rules are known as APA Style, and can be found in the "Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association." The editorial rules instruct writers to cite references in specific ways to ensure readers understand where source material was gathered and to assist readers in verifying the data used in the article. The guidelines apply to information read in books, magazines and pamphlets, found online, heard on the radio and watched on television.
