Bodyguard Training Schools

The duties of a bodyguard naturally involve danger, as bodyguards must be willing to risk their personal safety and sacrifice their physical well-being to protect their clients. Shielding powerful politicians, controversial figures or high-profile celebrities is a tremendous challenge that requires intensive training. If you are interested in starting a career as a bodyguard, multiple schools in the U.S. can train you to become a competent and successful bodyguard.
  1. Center for Advanced Security Studies

    • The Center for Advanced Security Studies provides challenging programs which prepare its students for careers as bodyguards and trains them regarding protective techniques and the security industry. One of the programs offered is the Month Long Immersion Program, which is held in both Florida and South America. Designed for adults who want to have bodyguard careers, this program is one of the most intensive programs commercially available. The Fourteen Day High Risk Tactical Operators Course is an entry level course for younger people (around 25 years old) who want to enter the private security industry in an armed role, usually in conflict zones such as Iraq or Afghanistan. The Tactical Shooting Course is intended to train its students to react to and overcome stressful shooting situations with a methodology that focuses on situational awareness, instinctive shooting and fluidity.
