Orlando Security Guard Schools

Florida licensing requires unarmed security guards to attain a class D license and armed security guards to secure a class G license after attaining class D. A total of 40 hours of training is required by the state for the D license. Completion of the first 24 hours allows trainees to enter employment with a temporary license. Completion of the remaining 16 hours later in the year issues graduates a permanent license. Twenty-eight hours are required for the G license. Annual license renewal training of four hours is a state requirement.
