Private Security Training Schools

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, security guards earn a median wage of $23,460 annually (as of May 2008). Though many companies offer their own post-hire training, security training from a private school provides an added credential for scoring a more competitive corporate position or work with a private client. Many states require licensure for security guards, and a private security training school may satisfy a portion of or all the education requirements to obtain a state license.
