Tarheel Canine Training, Inc. has an Elite Protect Dogs program, and this program is broken up into two categories: Companion Dog and Fully Trained Elite. The Companion Dog program trains German shepherds and certain other dogs to do basic and advanced commands, including staying alert either when behind a fence or on a leash. This is a deterrent program only, and canines are not taught to bite suspicious people. The Fully Trained Elite Protection Dog program teaches the dog to stay alert for both passive and aggressive strangers, and it is also taught to attack suspects. You can also train the dog to disable the attacker.
This training school offers a 10-week program that is broken up into three categories: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. The Level 1 Deterrent Dog program teaches your dog to be aggressive only on command. The Level 2 Defense Dog trains the dog to both deter and attack aggressors, and the dog also learns how to release the bite on command. The Level 3 Offense Dog training teaches the dog to pursue suspects off lease and to use its body to push and hold down a person.
This dog training school has a Personal Protection Training program that trains your dog to act aggressively on command, including barking at intruders. It also teaches you how to work with the dog to ensure that you keep your dog in control. Only qualified dogs are allowed into this program, and the school must test your dog before it is allowed into the training. This program is for families that need extra protection.
The TLC K9 Academy offers a Security Guard Dog Training course at its different campuses, including Chicago, Illinois; South Bend, Indiana; Phoenix, Arizona; Salt Lake City, Utah; and South Orange County, California. This course trains dogs for both home and business protection. The school tests your dog, ensuring that the animal has the right temperament for the training. You learn how to control your dog, and the dog learns how to remain alert.
