North Dakota Nursing Schools

With ever-increasing demand for quality nurses and nursing, North Dakota has no shortage of nursing schools and training centers. Most of these schools are localized in or around major North Dakota cities such as Grand Forks, Fargo and Bismarck, the state's capital. North Dakota State University, Dickinson State University and the University of North Dakota are just three of the larger institutions in North Dakota that offer extensive nursing education programs. Several North Dakota nursing schools offer undergraduate as well as graduate nursing programs.

    • Fargo, North Dakota hosts North Dakota State University (NDSU). This university features a college that offers undergraduate-level and graduate-level degree programs in Nursing. One of the nursing programs available is a four-year program that leads to a BS in Nursing degree. Other nursing programs at North Dakota State University are graduate-level programs. Graduate students can work towards a MS in Nursing degree and a DNP in Nursing Practice.

    Minot State University

    • Minot State University is located in Minot, North Dakota. The National League for Nursing accredits Minot State University's Nursing Department.
