Denver Pipefitters Local 208 also has a five-year apprenticeship program for pipefitting and HVAC. According to training coordinator John Lundgren, the program in Denver mirrors the one in Colorado Springs closely, except that skills used strictly in the plumbing trade are not taught at Denver.
