The James H. Groves Adult High School provides a number of educational opportunities for adults who did not finish high school. The school itself is located in Georgetown, but also features smaller campuses with limited class options in Selbyville, Bridgeville and Ellendale, and a number of online courses are available to work toward a certificate or degree.
Most of the students enrolled in James H. Groves Adult High School are working toward diplomas, and the requirements for adult graduation are the same as those for traditional high school students. If you cannot commit to a diploma program or are interested in earning your GED instead, the school offers weekday evening and Saturday morning classes to prepare for GED certification testing. These classes review the concepts you need to pass the exam, and they provide sample tests and questions to prepare you for the actual exam.
