Central Ohio Technical Schools

Technical schools are post-secondary schools that teach students the skills necessary for a particular trade or vocation. Depending on the type of school and program, a student may earn an associate degree or a certificate. An associate degree usually requires two years to complete, while earning a certificate usually takes less time. The amount of time it takes to earn a certificate varies depending on the type of vocational training. Technical schools may be public institutions, such as community colleges, or they may be private for-profit schools.
