Sullivan College of Technology and Design has 10 career programs, from computer network security and administration to heating, ventilation and air conditioning. All courses are design-directed, and a computer drafting course has been implemented. Interior design study leads to an associate's degree. Mechanical engineering, leading to an associate of science degree, teaches the art and craft of robotics. Several programs offer advanced degree tracks. The father of the business college concept, Enos Spencer, founded Spencerian College in Louisville in 1892. The Kentucky Community and Technical College system comprises six campuses. Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville is the largest. The college has over 14,000 students enrolled and offers over 300 courses of study, with degrees, certificates and diplomas awarded. As a result of the extensive number of programs offered, students find a course of study that suits their abilities.
