Located just off Interstate 71-75 and Interstate 275, the institution has been training students for a career in the beauty industry since 2000. Programs include cosmetology and cosmetology educator training. Michael's College of Hair Design -- also located in Florence -- has been operating since 1982. Classes are taught from Tuesday to Saturday, and the program typically lasts 10 1/2 months. In addition, programs in massage therapy are offered by Southwestern College in Florence and Daymar College in Bellevue.

Located in Covington, Gateway Community and Technical College offers an associate degree in information technology with a network administration option in addition to various certificates. Strayer University offers an associate, bachelor's and master's degree in information systems, while the Florence-based Lincoln College of Technology features an Associate of Applied Science in computer networking and security.
Students who are pursuing a career in nursing in Northern Kentucky can choose from a number of schools. Located in Fort Mitchell, Brown Mackie College offers a diploma in practical nursing. Beckfield College is a private institution on a six-acre campus just off Interstate 75 in Florence that offers a diploma in practical nursing in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree. Lincoln College of Technology features diploma programs in nursing, medical assisting and medical administration. National College in Florence offers an associate degree in nursing as well as several other medical programs.
