Configure your word processor to make the title-paged double-spaced. Use the paragraph formatting options for your processor to accomplish this. Typical font specifications call for 12-point Times New Roman font, but your professor or journal may have different specifications.
Type in all capital letters at the top of the page "Running Head:" (Do not use quotes) followed by the title of your paper. If your paper is titled "Analyzing the correlation of APA title pages," the line on the top of the page should read "Running Head: Analyzing the Correlation of APA Title Pages" (Again, do not use quotes.)
Write your paper's title in the upper-half section of the title page. Capitalize each word in the title.
Enter your first name, middle initial and your last name on the line below the title. Do not add any titles to your name, such as Dr, Ph.D or M.A.
Type the name of your institution on the line below your name. Do not abbreviate any part of the institution's name.
