  1. Theatre 360

    • Theatre 360 specializes in the theatrical arts education of children and young adults. Offering instruction to students from ages 3 through 19, Theatre 360 educates its students in the fields of acting, voice and dance in addition to the importance of support roles such as lighting, set design and costuming. Students are given the opportunity to participate in both leading and supporting roles in acting productions and also gain hands-on experience in the technical aspects of back-stage management. Instruction is offered through individual classes that are held once per week in addition to summer camp programs, which consist of two-week sessions.

    321 Talent Showcase Acting Studios

    • Located six miles from the heart of downtown Pasadena, 321 Talent Showcase Acting Studios offers personalized guidance and education for both beginning and experienced actors. Specializing in the instruction of children and young adults, 321 Talent Showcase Acting Studios offers in-depth study in the fields of cold reading, improvisation, auditioning and scene study. Students will become well versed in the practice of proper vocal delivery and enunciation techniques and will learn skills to help them improve their handling of props and their use of cue cards. Most courses consist of 12 classes, which are typically two hours in length.

    Debra DeLiso Acting Studio

    • Debra DeLiso Acting Studio, located in downtown Pasadena, holds a weekly workshop for adult actors, which offers instruction on the topics of scene and monologue work. Participants in the course receive guidance in the areas of auditioning, improvisation and articulation -- and students are encouraged to participate in company theatrical productions which are typically held three or four times per year. All courses are instructed by Debra DeLiso, a theatre artist, dancer and choreographer who holds a Masters Degree in Theatre from California State University, Los Angeles and has performed in an assortment of stage, film and television productions.

    The Pasadena Academy

    • In addition to dance and musical courses, The Pasadena Academy of Music and Dance offers comprehensive courses in acting and scene study for students aged four and up. Geared toward students who are interested in a career in theatre, acting and scriptwriting, course work consists of studies in monologue preparation, character development and line memorization. Students learn through a series of acting exercises and improvisations that are designed to help them master their characterization and enunciation skills. All classes are held weekly and are typically one hour in length.
