Accredited LVN Schools

A licensed vocational nurse (LVN) provides care to patients in a health care setting under the direct supervision of a physician or registered nurse (RN). They care for ill or injured patients as well as to women in the maternity area of a hospital. Also known as licensed practical nurses (LPNs), candidates practicing in the profession require special training and must pass a state licensure exam. Several accredited schools offer programs for prospective LVNs.
