Baylor University's Louise Herrington School of Nursing offers nursing degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The graduate program allows students to complete a master of science in nursing (MSN) in either advanced neonatal nursing or as a family nurse practitioner. Students enrolled in the certified nurse midwifery program are awarded the doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree. As part of the university's Christian faith-based educational philosophy, the school also offers students the opportunity to participate in mission and parish nursing opportunities.

The Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing offers the bachelor of science in nursing (BSN), an RN to BSN program, an accelerated BSN programs for students who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field, a master of science (MSN) degree, a PhD in nursing and a doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree. The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing offers nursing degrees at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels as well as an ADN to BSN program, which allows registered nurses who hold an associate's degree to complete their bachelor's degree while still being able to maintain their work schedule. Master's degree students may complete their studies in one of eleven concentrations, including maternal nursing, mental health nursing, public health and nursing administration.
