LVN Adult Schools

A licensed vocational nurse (LVN) provides patient care in hospitals, clinics, and other health care facilities under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. Vocational nursing programs are available at community colleges that also offer evening, weekend and part-time programs for working adults looking for a career change. In order to become a licensed vocational nurse, students must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN,) which is administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
