CDL Schools in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development predicts that the demand for commercial, heavy truck drivers in the state will increase by more than 3 percent from 2006 through 2016. To operate vehicles that weigh more than 26,001 pounds in the state of Massachusetts, a commercial driver's license (CDL) is necessary. A number of private schools in the state offer programs designed to prepare students for the state CDL examination.
