Ammonia Refrigeration Schools in Minnesota

Ammonia refrigeration systems differ from traditional refrigeration systems in that they change liquid ammonia into a gas in order absorb heat. Refrigeration technician programs typically include training in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and award diplomas, certificates or associate's degrees. Programs specific to ammonia refrigeration are very limited; however, many programs include related coursework. Some of these programs are located in Minnesota.
