    • Northland Community and Technical College offers a farm operation and management program consisting of 40 credits. It focuses on the financial aspects of operating a farm. Students are in class from November to March for two years. Courses include agricultural economics, machinery management and farm tax/estate planning.     South Central College

    • South Central College offers several agribusiness programs including chemical applicator technician, service technician, service and management, production and education. The 30-credit chemical applicator program focuses on chemical application equipment, fertilizers, soil and crops. The two-year agricultural education program is half of a four-year program, which is to be completed at the University of Minnesota. The transfer program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural, food and environmental education with a specialization in agricultural science and technology education. The other programs consist of 72 credits and graduates receive Associate of Applied Science degrees or diplomas.

    • Ridgewater College offers an agribusiness program with specializations in dairy science, petroleum sales, crop science, agronomy tech and animal science.
