Schools That Have Sonography in Minnesota

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development predicts that the demand for diagnostic medical sonographers in the state will increase by more than 23 percent from 2009 through 2019. To enter the field, a post-secondary certificate or degree is typically necessary. A small number of private and public schools in Minnesota offer such programs, preparing students to perform diagnostic imaging tests using sound waves through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice in laboratories and real medical facilities.
