Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University – NMMU

• NMMU was established in 2005 and is located in Summerstrand. With one of the largest campuses in the eastern and southern Cape, NMMU’s academic departments are spread across six locations. In addition to providing a wide array of academic disciplines, the university also houses schools, institutes and learning centers. Research centers at NMMU comprise indigenous studies, manufacturing, marine sustainability and renewable energy.
