Founded on June 1, 1479 by King Christian I, the University of Copenhagen is one of Northern Europe’s oldest universities. Originally, the university taught only theology, law, medicine and philosophy.
The University of Copenhagen is the largest university in Denmark. More than 100 departments and research centers are part of the school. Located on four different campuses throughout Copenhagen, the university covers 929,689 square meters. It is accredited by Ministeriet for Videnskab, Teknologi og Udvikling (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation) and is affiliated with the European University Association (EUA) and the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU).

Established in October 1946 after Japan gave Korea its independence, Seoul National University (SNU) is located in the capital of South Korea. Closed for a short while in 1952, it reopened in 1953. SNU had 9 colleges and 1 graduate school when it originally opened. It now comprises 16 colleges with 84 departments, one graduate school that consists of 98 departments and nine professionals.
Seoul National University has accreditation from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Korea and has been accredited since 1946. The university also hold accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and is affiliated with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU).

Canterbury University, originally Canterbury College, opened in 1873. The second institution of higher learning established in New Zealand, women have always been able to study at this institution. Survival of the college was originally based on the rent it received from farmland that was rented out.
The University moved to its current location in 1975 and now offers over 50 courses of study for students. In addition to the courses offered, CU runs five field stations. Canterbury University has been accredited by the Ministry of Education (Te Tahuhu o te Mataurauga)) and is affiliated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
