Corporate Grants for Students

Several corporations and corporate foundations offer grants, usually in the form of scholarships, to assist students. Though each grant has its own specific guidelines, student grants can generally be used to defray the cost of tuition, textbooks, cost of living and other education-related expenses. One way to make your applications stand out, as suggested by the New Jersey State Library's guide to corporate grants, is to try and see things from the corporation's perspective; in other words, focus on the grantmaker's priorities instead of your own needs.
