Seattle University has a criminal justice degree program with a specialization in victimology. Students who pursue this degree will earn a master's of arts degree upon completion and generally pursue careers in private security, law enforcement, victim services and social services.
Some of the required foundation courses include criminal justice theory and law and social control. Students must take four courses in the specialization area which include contemporary issues in victimology, restorative/community justice, violence and victimization, and feminist criminology.

Maricopa Community College has a victimology program where students work toward completing a certificate of completion. Students must complete 15 credit hours within this program; upon completion, students are prepared for a professional career in victim advocacy whether they are a police officer, social worker, counselor or probation officer. Courses cover topics such as community services, crisis intervention and victim rights.

St. Charles Community College has a victimology program where students work toward the completion of an associate's of applied science degree. This program is designed for those who are interested in entering the field of human services as well as those who are currently employed in human services and wish to upgrade their knowledge and skill level.
The general education requirements consist of business writing and an introduction to psychology. In the victimology specialization option, students must take four courses including an introduction to victimology, an introduction to criminal justice system, victim services and crisis intervention or special topics in human services/criminal justice.

Endicott College’s victimology program gives students an option to minor in this subject while earning their bachelor’s degree. Students are required to take six courses to meet their program requirements for this minor.
