Marine Military Colleges

Being part of the military guarantees that every soldier has the opportunity to enroll in a college. There are several institutions that teach military personnel as they prepare for military duty, and four year degree programs that accept military personnel into their college programs.
  1. Marine Corps University

    • Marine Corps University is located in Virginia and is the official university of the Marine Corps. This university trains marines in the skills they need during active duty. The University is structured into 10 colleges, each specified within a tactical or military program. The colleges include the Marine Corps Wars College, the School of Advanced Warfighting, the Command and Staff College, the Expeditionary Warfare School, the Enlisted Professional Military Education program, and the School of MAGTF Logistics. The central research facility on the campus is the Alfred Gray Research Center. Most courses, seminars, conferences, and speaker series are held within the conference center. Academic departments and offices are also found in this building. The University is also located near the Marine Corps Museum, which is a museum that documents the history of the Marine Corps.
