Marion Military Institute is located in Marion, Ala. The programs offered include the Early Commissioning Program where students earn a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Army. The Service Academy Preparation Program is a one-year program preparing students for entrance into one of the five service academies, and Marion offers the first two years of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training. Classes are transferable to the service academies or accredited colleges and universities. Additional programs offered include ROTC, service academy preparatory and the study abroad program where cadets take a semester of classes at Richmond Hills in London. Student can participate in men's or women's basketball, football, horsemanship, lacrosse, ice hockey, soccer, track and field, softball and wrestling.
Wentworth Military Academy and College is a private co-educational institution located in Lexington, Mo. Degrees offered include Associate of Arts, Business Management, Applied Sciences and Science. Collegiate athletics include men's and women's cross, indoor and outdoor track, tennis, golf, men's basketball, wrestling, soccer and women's volleyball. Admissions to Wentworth consist of three programs: boarding ROTC cadets, boarding non-ROTC cadets and non-boarding commuter students. Wentworth accepts dual enrollment from Missouri as well as transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities. The school has campuses at Hermitage, Lamar and Cameron.
Founded in 1879, Georgia Military College is a public institution located in Milledgeville. The school offers associate degrees in arts, sciences and applied sciences. Classes transfer to accredited four-year colleges and universities. Students enter as a commuter student or a cadet of the Army ROTC/JROTC program. Cadets qualify for U.S. Army commissions upon graduation.
