Philadelphia Biblical University is located in the Philadelphia suburb of Langhorne. Established in 1913, Philadelphia Biblical University has evolved from offering only a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible to now offering the same degree coupled with degrees in Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Social Work and Music. PBU offers a broad curriculum beyond religion and theology. The school focuses on providing students with a diverse education that incorporates the Bible with a productive campus life and develops the ability of students to go into the world with a well-rounded outlook. The Crimson Eagle is the school's official mascot and symbol of the university's many athletic teams including baseball, cross country, soccer, tennis and golf.
The Pennsylvania Bible Institute is located in Pittsburgh and Union City, Pennsylvania. The school graduated its first eight students on July 21, 2010. Pennsylvania Bible Institute conducts a three-year program of intensive Bible and ministry-related courses designed to develop a student's skills to become a successful minister in his community. PBI seeks students who already have God as a presence in their lives and want to perform God's will, particularly if that means building a new career path in ministry as a pastor or religious leader. A three-year course costs about $2,000 as of January 2011.
Baptist Bible College and Seminary is located in Clarks Summit. The school was first established in 1932 in Johnson City, New York but was moved to Clarks Summit in 1968 when the school outgrew its original campus. BBCS campus includes 17 buildings, athletic facilities for sports teams, including basketball, soccer, tennis and cross country, and a 4-acre lake. The school offers 31 undergraduate degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Bible, an Associate of Arts and a one-year Bible Certificate. Graduate programs include a Master of Science in Counseling Ministries, Ministry, Divinity and Theology.
Lancaster Bible College was established in 1933 in Lancaster, with a graduating class of five students. The school is considered faith based and faith centered but is non-denominational. Since 1979, the campus of Lancaster Bible College sits on 100 acres and serves almost 800 undergraduate students and 180 graduate students. Degree programs at LBC include Bachelor of Science in Bible, Bachelor of Science in Education, Associate of Science in Bible, Master of Arts in Bible, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Ministry and Master of Education.
