Maine Bible Colleges

Maine, the Pine Tree State, is a beautiful vacation destination, place to live and place to attend school. Students interested in Bible colleges can choose from several Maine institutions that offer a wide variety of degree opportunities. Most colleges offer on-campus housing. Be prepared for the harsh Maine winters, and take advantage of the many cultural experiences the state has to offer.
  1. New England Bible College

    • Established in 1959, New England Bible College works in close partnership with area churches. It strives to help students become spiritual leaders through curriculum, Christian service and skill development. Tuition is low, and financial aid and housing are available. Students are required to go to chapel every week.

    Saint Joseph's College of Maine

    • Founded in 1912, Saint Joseph's College of Maine is a Catholic college but honors all religious faiths. Saint Joseph's is considered a liberal arts college, with on-campus and online degrees offered. Financial aid, scholarships and work-study programs are available, as is student housing.

    Bangor Theological Seminary

    • Fall foliage is one of the beauties students enjoy in Bangor.

      Bangor Theological Seminary, founded in 1814, is affiliated with the United Church of Christ. It has campuses in Bangor and Portland. This college strives to prepare students for a life devoted to Christian ministry. Financial aid is available, but student housing is not.

    Bates College

    • Bates College, founded in 1855, is a liberal arts college in Lewiston. A wide variety of degree programs are available, including a bachelor's degree in religious studies. The school offers 65 religious courses offered. Financial aid and on-campus student housing are available. Bates Chapel, located on campus, holds Catholic and Protestant services every Sunday.
