Nazarene Bible College (NBC) was founded in 1964, and it is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. NBC, which is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene, only grants baccalaureate degrees. The academic year is divided into trimesters, rather than semesters. Approximately 400 students attend the college. NBC does not offer on-campus housing to students. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
Lancaster Bible College (LBC) was founded in 1933 by Henry J. Heydt, and it is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. LBC offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. Undergraduate students can pursue a bachelor's degree, an associate degree or a one-year certificate from programs in departments such as Bible Ministry, Church Leadership, Counseling, Social Work and Education. Graduate students can pursue a master's degree or graduate certificate from programs such as counseling, leadership studies, pastoral studies and school counseling. Approximately 800 students (450 undergraduates) attend LBC, and approximately 100 faculty members teach at the college. LBC is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and by various other associations of colleges and higher education schools.
Maranatha Baptist Bible College (MBBC) was founded in 1968 by B. Myron Cedarholm, and it is located in Watertown, Wisconsin. MBBC is a fundamentalist Baptist college awarding undergraduate degrees from programs such as business management, teacher education, nursing, humanities, biology, fine arts, Bible and church ministry, and graduate degrees in Biblical Studies, Biblical Counseling and Theology. Approximately 900 students are enrolled in the college. MBBC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school's teacher education program is recognized by the state for teacher certification. MBCC is known for its stringent rules and regulations regarding student conduct. Students are compelled to abide by a strict dress code, which bans certain brands and designers. Rock music is not permitted on campus or on students' personal computers. Dancing, alcohol and attendance at movie theaters are also strictly forbidden. Students that live on campus observe a 10:00 p.m. curfew. Male and female students are not allowed to spend any time alone together, including in vehicles or classrooms.
Baptist Bible College & Seminary (BBCS) was founded in 1932 in Johnson City, New York. The college moved to Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, in 1968. BBCS prepares students for careers in Christian leadership by combining a traditional liberal arts curriculum with a Bible-intensive program of study. There are 38 undergraduate, graduate and seminary programs from which students can choose. Many courses are offered online or via another kind of distance learning (such as video). Approximately 900 students attend the college, which is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
