USF designed the online BSAS degree specifically with Florida associate degree graduates in mind since associate degree holders already have sixty transferable course hours. The online Bachelor of Science degrees require only sixty additional course hours from associate degree students, including eighteen hours in concentration area as well as a general education and exit course component requirement. Bachelor of Science online programs include those in criminal justice, industrial operations, public health and information technology.
Designed as a terminal post-master's degree, the education specialist online degree (Ed.S.) is a degree in curriculum and instruction with an instructional technology focus. Students take courses in web programming, instructional design and instructional graphics, project management and distance learning. The Ed.S. degree also requires a final project or thesis that the student has to defend in addition to completing a comprehensive final portfolio and competency self-analysis report.
