Students can also obtain graduate certificates in intelligence studies, intelligence analysis and competitive intelligence. The Bachelor of Arts degree requires 121 credit hours for graduation. Students take 24 credit hours in core courses and another 24 in the field of their concentration. The Master of Arts program requires 36 credit hours for completion. Courses include counterintelligence, terrorism and counterterrorism, electronic warfare, denial and deception, intelligence analysis, regional threat analysis, history of the Central Intelligence Agency, and terrain and weather intelligence.

The primary focus of the program is business data analysis through the use of technology and quantitative methods. Two specializations are also offered within the program: business intelligence and behavior analysis. The business intelligence degree program requires 45 credit hours for graduation. Students take courses in fields such as applied behavior analysis, foundations for business intelligence, critical performance management, enterprise data, developing decision-making competencies and management issues in business intelligence.

Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is a third school offering online studies in the intelligence field. FDU offers a Master of Administrative Science (MAS) degree through its department of online studies. FDU also offers several graduate degree certificates in conjunction with the master's degree program: global security and terrorism studies, school security and safety administration, emergency management administration, global leadership and administration, computer security and forensic administration, and global health and human services administration. The MAS degree requires 30 credit hours for completion. Students pursue 18 hours in administrative courses and another nine in decision-making and analytic competencies.
