Online Music Therapy Degrees

Music therapy incorporates music and audio sounds to provide pain relief, stress reduction and memory retrieval. This treatment's soothing effects can be helpful to Alzheimer's patients or women who are in labor, for example. Professionals in the field need a master's degree in music therapy, which is offered through traditional on-campus studies or through an online format. Online formats provide more flexibility for graduate students who work full-time or have children or other prior engagements.
