The University of Phoenix offers an online Associate's of Art with an online networking degree concentration. This is a two year degree program that covers network security, local area networks and wireless networks. Even though this is an online degree program, it also includes 100 hours of hands-on experience working with real networking equipment and working through scenarios that you will experience when working in the real world.
The American Intercontinental University or AIU offers a Bachelor's in Information Technology with a concentration in Network Administration. This program teaches students about programming, network engineering, network security, data administration and the process of completing IT projects in real world scenarios. This is a fully online course of study and does not offer the hands-on experience that the University of Phoenix offers.
Capella University offers a Bachelor's of Science with a concentration in Network Technology. This fully online course of study offers both online work and hands-on learning to prepare students for careers in network administration, design and security. Upon graduation students will also have the skills needed to design, maintain and troubleshoot problems with Internet, intranet and extranet connections.
Strayer University offers a Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems in Networking. This is a fully online degree program with no hands-on training. With this program students do get to choose a concentration in computer science, database developer, database management, homeland security and information systems, internetworking technology, networking, programming, security administration or web development. This allows you to specialize in whatever part of networking most interests you.
