The program's emphasis is on writing, analytical thinking and logic, as well as preparation for the LSAT.

Like most schools, Chapman does not offer a pre-law degree. However, they do offer a strong network of courses, guidance and organizations that constitute a pre-law program and equip students well for the LSAT and performance during law school. Students can major in anything, but several political science, writing and history courses are specifically recommended for students who wish to pursue a graduate degree in law.
