Outside of the National Naval Medical Center and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, there are no other naval medical schools, but this does not limit your opportunity to go to medical school with naval funding. Both current students and residents can receive funding from the Navy to pay for their medical education. Current physicians can even receive sign-on bonuses to help offset the cost of their own medical education. The Navy offers similar opportunities for specialists, nurses and dentists as well.
