American Dental Schools

American dental schools lead to a DDS (doctor of dental surgery) or DMD (doctor of dental medicine) degree. In order to obtain a license in your state you must hold a degree from an institution accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dental schools generally do not participate in school rankings such as U.S. News and Princeton Review.
