Dental Schools in Arizona

According to the U.S. Dept. of Labor, in 2008 there were 141,900 licensed dentists in the United States. Of that number, 121,000 were general practitioners. The Bureau says that employment of dentists will grow by 16 percent through 2018. However, there will not be enough dentists to handle the increased demand for dental services. Dentists will need to depend on dental hygienists and assistants to handle routine services.
