Ultrasound Schools in Missouri

Ultrasound technicians use images to examine internal organs, including the heart, abdomen, blood vessels and other internal organs. Ultrasound schools in Missouri focus on heart and blood vessel imaging and consist of classroom work and hands-on training at medical facilities. As of March 2010, Missouri is the only state that offers master's degrees in ultrasound technology. Students can spend between 2 and 6 years in school, depending on their educational goals.
