With over 7,000 students, this college offers a full range of programs in the culinary management, education, health sciences, language and literature, mathematics, natural sciences, public safety, social sciences, technology, visual and performing arts, as well as in the wellness and athletics areas. Certificates and associate degrees are awarded by this institution. Students can participate in the choral group, student-run newspaper and sports teams. Tallahassee Community College is a state and locally supported suburban school situated on a 258-acre campus in Tallahassee, Florida. According to the school website, the college is one of the top 25 colleges in the nation that awards the most associates degrees. Tallahassee Community College also offers certificates. This non-competitive school typically admits close to 100% of its applicants. Applicants that do not meet requirements to pursue college study are given the opportunity to enroll in the Summer Education Academy and other programs to bridge the learning gap.
