Community Colleges in Newnan, Georgia

Newnan, 30 miles south of Atlanta, is one of the fastest-growing cities in Georgia. Named after North Carolinian General Daniel Newnan, the city was established in 1828 and was used by Confederate troops as a hospital area during the Civil War. Due to the large number of antebellum homes and buildings still within the city limits, Newnan has been the site of many films and TV shows. Today, there are several academic institutions in the area.
