Radians College is located in Washington, DC. This school offers an RN and LPN program. Radian's full-time day LPN program is 66 weeks long, and includes 1,608 hours of classroom lectures, labs and clinicals. New classes start in January, May and September. To gain acceptance into the program, students need a high school diploma or GED, heath insurance, background check, CPR certification, certain vaccinations, two letters of recommendation and an interview with the school. Students must also complete a pre-admission exam. Financial assistance may be available to qualifying students. Students who pass the program are allowed to register for the state nursing exam.

Capital Health Institute School of Practical Nursing is located in Washington, DC. A day and night LPN program is offered at CHI. The day program is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm, while the night classes are Monday through Friday 4:00pm to 10:00pm. To qualify for the LPN program at CHI, students must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, be CPR certified, submit three letters of recommendation and take part in an interview. This LPN program is approved by the D.C. Educational Licensure Commission. Students who complete the program successfully can sit for the state exam.
