The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) offers both three- and six-week summer courses. Subjects range from fine arts to design to art history. The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University offers summer courses through its Kanbar Institute of Film and Television as well as film studies and art classes. According to its website, The Tisch School of the Arts incorporates visits to art galleries and exhibitions into its summer programs, as well as film viewings. The courses are held at New York University's campus located near Washington Square Park in New York City. The school also offers certificates to qualified film program students who complete three required courses within a two-year time frame.
