The Metafora art school in Barcelona offers a yearlong full time studio arts course in contemporary art called the International Workshop. The workshop lasts from September to June. The course is taught in English, but most of the instructors also speak fluent Spanish. You must have an undergraduate degree in art or have extensive art experience to be eligible for the program. In the workshop, you will spend the year studying art with over 30 students from countries around the world. Students must commit to being present every day and be prepared for long hours of studio work.
